Tunohopu marae stay

Last Tern Discovery Academy went to Tunohopu Marae for a trip for 3 days and 2 nights.
Before room4 went to Tunohopu they went to the museum and Watched movies and heard lots of story . then we walked to tunohopu well another class walked to the museum.

In the weekend.

In the weekend I went to a youth program trip At Pikirangi marae across the road from the airport.We stayed there all weekend. We got picked up after school. when we got there we all got welcomed onto the marae. There where people from kotu, ford land,and heights. Im in the heights one. Then we all had to introduce our self to each other. the next day we went horse riding made harakeke flowers and we write about what we wanted to do in our community. After all of that we went down to lake okareka. and did ab sailing and crate building. after all of that we went back to the marae.then we had dinner.after that we had a rest then went to sleep. the next day we played games and listened to to people speek. after that we got droped off home and had a cool as weekend.

Room 4s web challange.

At the beginning of term 2 one of our computer teachers started our class on web challenges.
Then we got split up into groups.After that we got to choose what research we wanted to do.
Our group researched our marae stay.when we got started we had to do lots of research.we are going to do more Research through this week. We are doing questions like who built the first marae, what tools did the use, and all sorts of others. this week we are also putting our information
on too.

In the holidays

On the first weekend of the holiday Me and my mate went to the town skate park.We went there at 10:00 And got back at 7:30, well we were there we had lots of games of skate. When we got hungry we went to k.f.c. and got us a big munch And a big drink. after that we rested our stomachs then we went and had another skate Again.When we went Back home my mate stayed at my house and we played tony hawk American waist land on the game.

The next day we woke up and watched a couple of movies until my mum woke up. When she woke up she made us break fast. A few hours later my mum took us to the pools. we took some munchies too.

Hi my name is Alistair and I am 12 years of Age and I live in Rotorua NewZealand. At home I live with my mum and my sister she is older than me. Her name is Beaudey. And i also have 1 cat.

I go to Kaitoa middle school. At school i am a member of the year8 band.I am also in Discovery Academy Which is a cool computer class. My Teachers name is Ms goldsworthy. We do things like web challenges Newspaper articles and heaps of other cool stuff.

After school or on the weekend I like to hang out with my mates And go skating.I also like to go to timeout with my mates.
